House System

House System – System Llys Ysgol Cwm Brombil

At Ysgol Cwm Brombil, our House System is central to school life. Every pupil and staff member, from Years 7–11 belongs to one of five houses, creating a strong sense of identity, pride and community throughout their time with us.

Our Houses

Pupils are allocated a house through their form class and remain in that house for their entire school journey.

Each house fosters teamwork, leadership and a shared commitment to excellence.

Our Cornerstones

The House System actively promotes our three school cornerstones:

Through house activities, pupils are encouraged to be committed to their learning, assertive in leadership roles and positive role models within the school community.

Student Leadership

The House System is overseen by Mrs Morgan-Doyle and the School Senedd. The Senedd act as House Ambassadors ensuring pupils have a voice in shaping competitions and activities throughout the year.

Through aspiration, belonging and character, our House System develops pupils who are ambitious, committed, responsible, kind and ready to contribute positively to both school and wider society.
